WHW-ICF OC Partnership

Top Performer Program

Back in 2015, we launched a partnership with the non-profit organization WHW (Women Helping Women/Men2Work) to provide pro-bono coaching to WHW's clients via the Top Performer Coaching Program. Since then, we've paired 32 courageous clients with our very own ICF OC coaches.

About WHW

WHW provides the unemployed and underemployed the skills and resources they need to get and keep a good job.  Since 1993, WHW has served over 70,000 job seekers referred by over 275 partner agencies at no charge.  Each year more than 8,000 job seekers participate in programs focused on equipping them to be the most marketable candidate for the job they seek.  Programs include Employment Readiness Workshops, Computer Training, Job Placement Assistance, Employment Retention Support and Professional Apparel.   For more information on WHW and how to support their job seekers, please visit www.whw.org.

The Top Performer Coaching Program typically runs for 3 months in the Spring and in the Fall. Here's how each edition of the program works:

  • WHW selects 15-20 of their most promising, dedicated clients for the program.
  • ICF OC matches 15-20 of our members with the WHW clients.
  • Engagements last approx. 3 months (or 6 sessions).
  • Coaching sessions take place over the phone, face-to-face (preferred), or via Skype/FaceTime. The duration of each is typically 1 hr.

Are you an ICF OC coach who is interested in serving in the Top Performer Coaching Program? Let us know!

Are you an ICF OC coach who is currently doing pro-bono coaching for another organization and would like to share your story?  We'd love to hear it!

Do you know of any non-profit organizations whose clients could benefit from pro-bono coaching?  Pease share your recommendations!
