March 2018 Print

Intro

Welcome to the April 2018 edition of the ICF Orange County newsletter!

Yes, I know that strictly speaking it's still March but I sometimes like to flex into other personality types, and as an ENFP for me that means doing things earlier that I usually would. Also, I don't want you to miss out on our upcoming webinar and I know some people like to plan ahead.

Calendar of Events

It is common for both coaches and clients to find themselves driven to exhaustion and experience high levels of stress. Stress often happens when running a business and when engaging in relationships that become one-sided. When this happens, we often find ourselves sacrificing our own self-care and needs in order to keep everything else moving forward. Join John Bond as he explores how we can help clients and ourselves in restoring balance and breaking the patterns that throw things out of whack.

This talk addresses four core competencies.

John Bond is an ICF Professional Certified Coach who is dedicated to helping his clients love the life they have or create a life they love. Over the past 30 years, John’s personal and professional evolution moved from educator to administrator, training and development specialist to consultant, and coach trainer to an entrepreneur. In every transition, his focus is on personal growth, finding fulfillment, and making a difference. Life is too short to settle for “good enough.”

Brand news

Until recently, we were suffering from a bit of an identity crisis. We mostly called ourselves ICF Orange County, but our website and some of our social media accounts had us as Coaches of Orange County instead. Now to my British ears (both my ears are British), that sounded like a long-distance bus company.

Now, when you are part of an organization which exists to lead the global advancement of the coaching profession, with 30,000 members in 140 countries, you want to make sure your branding reflects that. For that reason, we have updated our website to www.icforangecounty.org  have changed our email addresses and Facebook page accordingly.

While we're on the subject of brand, did you know that ICF Members in good standing may use the logo on their website, business cards, press releases, email signatures, and other promotional items? You can download a branding toolkit by logging on to the ICF global website and clicking on your name to access the members-only section.
