Virtual Chapter Meeting: Discover your potential to change!

Change is difficult – It’s not impossible!

Change is something everybody is interested in. Whether it’s gaining more self-confidence, reducing stress, listening deeply to another person, losing weight, being more decisive, or ending procrastination. And, yet most of us find initiating and sustaining change very difficult.

Linda will guide you through the Immunity to Change™ process as you identify a self-improvement goal, learn about your unique way of resisting change, and select a big assumption to explore and test. Through this process, you will have the opportunity to deepen your self-awareness and reflect on your potential to change.

The Immunity to Change™ process was developed by two Harvard professors, Dr. Kegan and Dr. Lahey. From their initial research on adult development and transformational change, to their current status as global leaders of sustainable change, their work has evolved into a different model (or way of going about change) that begins with a deep understanding as to why change is so hard and the reasoning behind it.

Virtual meeting prework: Bring one or two ideas for a self-improvement goal. Create a positive statement focused on the future, about you getting better at something, feels powerful to you and will make a difference in your life. Hint: If you feel stuck, imagine gathering a group of 4 or 5 friends who know you well and only want the best for you, what goal would these friends offer you to improve some area of your life? When you register you will receive an ITC™ map to use during the virtual meeting.
