The purpose of the Orange County Chapter is to provide community, continuing education and resources to practicing professional coaches in building thriving and impactful businesses.

Ethics

As a professional coach, I acknowledge and agree to honor my ethical obligations to my coaching clients and colleagues and to the public at large. I commit to comply with the ICF Code of Ethics, to treat people with dignity as independent and equal human beings, and to model these standards with those whom I coach. If I breach this Pledge of Ethics or any part of the ICF Code of Ethics, I agree that the ICF in its sole discretion may hold me accountable for so doing. I further agree that my accountability to the ICF for any breach may include loss of my ICF membership and/or my ICF credentials.

 

DEIB Mission Statement

The ICF Orange County Charter Chapter (ICF-OC) is dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within the coaching profession. We strive to cultivate a welcoming and supportive community that embraces the richness of diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences.

Our Mission is to:

  • Promote equity and fairness in coaching opportunities and practices.

  • Foster an inclusive environment where all members feel valued and respected.

  • Advocate for justice and challenge systemic barriers within the coaching industry.

  • Provide education, resources, and support to enhance cultural competence among coaches.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create meaningful and sustainable change.

Through these efforts, we aim to empower coaches to make a positive impact in Orange County and beyond, embodying the values of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in their coaching practice and interactions with clients, colleagues, and the broader community.
